Victor leverages his Wall Street training, life experience, and commercial instincts to secure results in amicable and contentious negotiations alike. Victor began his career as a Wall Street lawyer after graduating fifth from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005. He was subsequently a corporate executive at Manulife Financial in Toronto where he focused on private equity transactions and managed a small team. Victor has been twice “recommended” by The Legal 500 based on interviews with his clients and peers. Victor founded Civil Divorce to offer his negotiating and financial expertise to families in Vancouver and Toronto. Victor’s unique background is particularly impactful to families with substantial financial, real, or business assets. Victor’s practice is informed by his own divorce in 2015 which involved protracted and complex negotiations. He is sensitive to the significant personal and familial challenges caused by divorce and supports his clients as both a trusted advisor and legal counsel. Victor is licensed to practice law in British Columbia, Ontario, and New York. Victor is a dual resident of Vancouver and Toronto. He has previously lived in New York, London, and Hong Kong. In his spare time, Victor enjoys skiing, comedy, and travelling.
